The 2025 MLB Spring Breakout is a four-day event showcasing baseball’s top minor-league prospects competing against one another. It will occur at various Cactus and Grapefruit League ballparks from March 13-16, and all 30 Major League franchises will participate.
The San Diego Padres will host the Athletics on March 14 at the Peoria Sports Complex. First pitch is set for 2:40 p.m. PT. Highlighting the Padres’ roster are their top two prospects, Leodalis De Vries and Ethan Salas. Both phenoms played in last year’s contest, as they combined for one hit and four walks.
