Lamet makes spring debut, Padres drop one 7-3 to Giants

Dinelson Lamet made his spring training debut on Wednesday night and while it wasn’t long nor efficient, it was still good to see him out there at all. Lamet was limited to just one inning of work where he allowed a single run and zero strikeouts.

The Padres ended up dropping this one 7-3, but the biggest news the fans got out of the evening was that Fernando Tatis is going to be fine after exiting Tuesday’s game early with an apparent shoulder injury.

Per Jayce Tingler earlier in the day, Tatis is “doing well” and even tried to convince him to allow him into Wednesday night’s lineup.
