Kyle Hart deals, San Diego slips past Colorado

Kyle Hart, like Nick Pivetta before him, bounced back with a stellar performance in his second start at home. Hart lasted just 2/3 of an inning on the road against the Cubs in his last start. He returned to his home ballpark and threw six shutout innings and allowed one hit to lead the San Diego Padres to a 2-0 win over the Colorado Rockies, Saturday night.

Pivetta recorded seven scoreless innings and had 10 strikeouts in the series opener against the Rockies, Friday. Hart took the momentum from the night before and continued the strong performances by Padres pitchers.
