Jurickson Profar not returning to Padres

Well, this offseason keeps getting worse...

It was Blake Snell, Roki Sasaki and Tanner Scott going to the Dodgers. It was Willy Adames and Justin Verlander going to the Giants. Juan Soto to the Mets. Corbin Burnes and Josh Naylor to the D-Backs.

And now it’s Jurickson Profar to another NL contender: the Atlanta Braves. Profar is signing for three years, $42 million according to Robert Murray. An incredible deal for a guy who signed for $1 million prior to the 2024 season.

BREAKING: Free-agent outfielder Jurickson Profar and the Atlanta Braves are in agreement on a contract, according to sources familiar with the deal.
