SAN DIEGO -- In Josh Johnson's rehab start with Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore on Friday, his first start since undergoing his second Tommy John surgery in 2014, he faced one batter, gave up a hit and threw four pitches before exiting the game.
Before Saturday's game against the Dodgers, assistant general manager Fred Uhlman Jr. said that the team has not spoken to Johnson, but he was flying back to San Diego on Saturday to meet with Dr. Hoenecke, the team's physician.
"He felt some discomfort in the elbow throwing and down his forearm," Uhlman Jr.
