Jay homers twice, Padres down Dodgers despite Rea's wildness

PEORIA, Ariz. -- Jon Jay homered twice and Colin Rea labored through five innings in the San Diego Padres' 11-9 spring victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.

Jay, acquired from St. Louis in an offseason trade to play center field, hit an opposite-field homer to left and pulled a two-run shot off right-hander Ross Stripling.

Wil Myers also hit a two-run homer off Stripling, making his first spring start.

Justin Turner belted a solo shot off Rea, contending for one of two open starting spots.
