SAN FRANCISCO -- Former Padre Nick Hundley came back to haunt his former team, smacking a two-run game-winning single against San Diego closer Brad Hand in the bottom of the ninth inning Monday night.
Hand had thrown a season-high 36 pitches when Hundley swatted a single up the middle to give the Giants a 6-5 victory. It spoiled a bounceback performance from rookie left-hander Eric Lauer, who bent but didn't break in his second big league start.
