Maybe some have forgot about Ha-Seong Kim a little bit but his season is officially over. Mike Shildt announced the news before tonight’s game in Arizona. Kim has been on the IL since August 20 after hurting his shoulder diving back into first base.
The 28-year-old may have played his final game in a Padres uniform, as he’s a free agent after the season ends. He’ll be having shoulder surgery soon. “I really tried everything to come back and help the team,” he said. “But my body just wouldn’t listen to my mind. So I think as of now, my season is over, and it’s really frustrating and disappointing.
