With a career-high 10 strikeouts from Drew Pomeranz in an 8-2 win over the Pirates, the Padres clinched their second series of the season. Today, they eye their first sweep of the season as they did a little more than a week ago when right-hander James Shields allowed three home runs in a getaway loss to the Rockies.
