In the thick of a competition for a bench spot, Adam Rosales had good reason to depart camp earlier this week: The birth of his first son.
Which made it all that more difficult to leave his wife, daughter and newborn son Adrian Adam behind in Cleveland.
“Yesterday was tough leaving the hospital,” said Rosales, who arrived home in plenty of time to greet a healthy, 8-pound, 6½-pound boy. “It was a gloomy day outside. It was raining in Cleveland and just leaving my family knowing we have a new life to take care of was a tough flight home.
