We're pretty deep into the postseason at this point, and many of the former Friars have been eliminated from contention. Only two of them ever saw playoff action in San Diego, and the elimination of Adrian Gonzalez and the Dodgers means Chris Young is the last member of the 2006 NL West Champion Padres to see action in 2015. Young started and won against the Cardinals in Game 3 of the '06 NLDS. On Tuesday, according to Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star, he'll be making his first October start in 9 years.
