With an abundance of off days plus the All-Star break plus Chris Paddack being recalled from his rest in Single-A plus the imminent return of Dinelson Lamet, the addition and subtraction is giving way to calculus.

On Saturday, reliever Gerardo Reyes was optioned to Triple-A El Paso to make room for Paddack on the 25-man roster. Still around are rookie starters Cal Quantrill and Logan Allen.
