After a rough debut for the former Cubs ace, Yu Darvish took it to the Giants on Tuesday night, striking out seven and allowing three hits with a solo home run to help the Fernando Tatis-less Padres tie up the series with San Francisco with a 3-1 victory.
Speaking of Tatis, the Padres fan base was finally able to exhale after the superstar’s exam wound up being “uneventful”, according to general manager A.J. Preller. Per The Athletic’s Dennis Lin, Tatis is headed to the 10-Day IL where he’s rehab without surgery while the team hopes to have him back within that timeframe.
