When Eve Rosenbaum played softball at Harvard, the team sent early shockwaves through a 2012 NCAA Super Regional by knocking off Maryland and Texas Tech.

Returning home after a loss to Washington, the team received a jolt of its own. After winning back-to-back Ivy League championships and mounting a wild, unexpected run in the regional … crickets.

“Being an Ivy League school, you’re not expected to win games in the NCAA tournament,” Rosenbaum said. “We got a little shout-out on ESPN, but no one wanted to talk to us about that. It was because that same year, the Harvard baseball team put out this video dancing in a van to ‘Call Me Maybe.
