SAN DIEGO -- Padres right-hander Andrew Cashner was lifted from Sunday's game against the Mets for precuationary reasons with a slight right hamstring cramp.
Cashner was in his sixth inning of work when manager Andy Green and others approached the mound after he went 2-2 to leadoff hitter Eric Campbell. Before leaving, Cashner surrendered three runs and nine hits, with a walk and a strikeout.
Brad Hand relieved Cashner, who ended the previous inning by getting thrown out at the plate when trying to score from first on Jon Jay's double.
