Brewers' big bats bop Padres for a sweep

SAN DIEGO -- No doubt, the Brewers envisioned big things from Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich when they acquired the outfield duo in January. Three games into the season, they're getting just that.

Yelich and Cain once again led the way, as the Crew polished off a three-game season-opening sweep of the Padres with a 7-3 victory on Saturday night. Yelich recorded a career-high-tying five hits, while Cain added three of his own to back Brewers starter Brent Suter. The left-hander wasn't particularly sharp, but he pitched five innings of three-run ball, and the bullpen did the rest.
