The Padres did not want to waste time.
Not Andy Green’s time, their players’ time, nor their own.
As every team does, Padres General Manager A.J. Preller and the club’s owners have a list of potential managerial candidates at the ready.
Multiple team sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said Saturday after Green’s firing the list can grow and did not reveal it in its entirety.
