While the piece reads like a Statler and Waldorf take on the idea of brown uniforms (with Canepa quips like “didn’t look like a chili size” and “looking like UPS drivers who just rear-ended a French’s truck”) within the interview Ron Fowler comments that he’s resigned to the idea of brown coming back to the Padres’ colorway.
