Highlight: The AL ended an 11-game NL winning streak in a big way, banging out 15 hits for a record 13 runs. A seven-run third inning for the AL was highlighted by Angels outfielder Fred Lynn’s grand slam off Giants pitcher Atlee Hammaker. The Brewers’ Robin Yount was walked intentionally to get to Lynn.
