July 7, 1964, Shea Stadium, Queens, New York
Starting pitchers: Dean Chance, Angels; Don Drysdale, Dodgers.
Managers: Al Lopez, White Sox; Walter Alston, Dodgers.

Highlight: The NL trailed 4-3 coming into the ninth inning. Orlando Cepeda tied the game with a single that scored Giants teammate Willie Mays, who had walked and stole second against the Red Sox’s Dick Radatz leading off the inning. The Cardinals’ Curt Flood pinch ran for Cepeda and the Reds’ Johnny Edwards was walked intentionally, bringing Callison to the plate.
