The Padres topped the Brewers 4-1 with virtual long balls from Eric Hosmer and Brian Dozier
The virtual Padres moved to 38-30 and six games back of first place in the NL West Division behind strong games from both Eric Hosmer and Brian Dozier in Tuesday’s victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. Joey Lucchesi was on the bump for the visitors, pitching phenomenally over seven innings while allowing just one earned run and striking out two.
And that’s all the Padres would need from their starter as they chased Adrian Houser after just 4.
