France was led by Parker, Boris Diaw and former San Antonio Spur Nando De Colo. The trio led the way for Les Blues as Philippines came out aggressive. Philippine started hot in the first quarter, shooting 50 percent. From the second quarter and beyond, it was a different story. Philippines cooled off while Parker and France heated up.
In the end, France shot 54 percent from the floor. What helped the French team make the turnaround from the first quarter was better ball movement–which resulted in an 18-11 edge in assists.
Parker finished with 21 points, six assists and four rebounds in 30 minutes of play.
