With flood waters near his far Northwest area home subsided, Spurs starting point guard Tony Parker arrived safely at AT&T Center to prepare for Friday’s home opener against the Brooklyn Nets.
Parker missed the morning shootaround at the team’s practice site when he encountered high water on a road near his home. Adhering to the National Weather Services admonition “turn around, don’t drown,” Parker took the safe route. He posted a photo on Twitter that depicted his rainstormm induced dilemma.
