The Spurs’ latest signing, Serbian center Boban Marjanovic, is something of a mystery man. At least, as mysterious as anyone can be in the Internet age.
What we do know, in broad strokes:
* He’s incredibly big (7-3, 290).
* He’s a three-time Serbian Super League MVP.
* He was named All-Euroleague last year after setting a single-season record for rebounds.
Here’s a little more color from highly-regarded European reporter David Pick, who detailed Marjanovic’s selfless decision to play for his former team, Red Star Belgrade, in this year’s Serbian championship series despite a broken foot.
