The San Antonio Spurs are signing center Tyler Zeller for the remainder of the season, according to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic.
While the financial details have yet to surface, the seven-foot center figures to provide the Silver and Black with some frontcourt depth when they travel to Orlando for the resumption of competitive play late next month. It is worth noting the Spurs lost seven-time All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge after he opted for season-ending shoulder surgery in April.
Zeller, a former first-round pick, has seven seasons of NBA experience under his belt and has started 166 games throughout his professional career.
