The Spurs should incorporate the full-court press into the game plan

During Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, there was a call that doesn’t happen very often. Dennis Schroder grabbed the ball on a made Spurs basket and threw it in without setting his feet out of bounds. The turnover put the ball back in the hands of the San Antonio Spurs.

A few plays later Montrezl Harrell allowed the inbounds pass to slip out of his control and out of bounds, giving the Spurs the possession. He dropped it because the Spurs had gone into a full court press.

In the past, the Spurs have been disruptive in the backcourt.
