The hits keep on coming. After losing Dejounte Murray for the season and Lonnie Walker IV for eight weeks, the Spurs will also be without Derrick White for a while. The 24-year-old guard could be sidelined for up to two months with a heel injury.
Prior to White’s injury, Gregg Popovich had said the team would not made a signing or a trade to shore up the Spurs’ guard depth. Things could be different now. In his typically sarcastic way, Pop left the door open for a potential additions when asked about it by SAEN’s Jeff McDonald:
