The San Antonio City Council has approved a $17M agreement on Thursday allowing the San Antonio Spurs to build a new Northwest Side campus, per Megan Stringer of the San Antonio Express-News.
The campus will include a training facility, research center, park, and medical offices. And the Spurs are reportedly investing at least $246M into this development, which will create at least 15 new full-time jobs.
The Spurs agreed to measures on tree preservation, water quality, public art investment, and a transportation demand management plan to support the thousands of residents expected to visit and work on the campus.
