It's weird how sports friendships happen. By all accounts, I shouldn't like J.A. Sherman. He loves the Thunder, runs Welcome to Loud City, and likes Russell Westbrook, for crying out loud. But in spite of all of those strikes against him, we get along famously and he's one of the first people I'll be looking up the next time I get back to the nation's capital.
With the NBA's off-season hovering around its mid-point, Sherman and I started a conversation that we're still in the middle of. I decided to let you guys follow along while we talk about the summer that the Spurs and Thunder had, the changes the rosters have undergone, what we can expect of each team in their shared season opener, and what's worth crying about.
