DALLAS — Up until a few days ago, there were five teams the Spurs could have drawn in the first-round of playoffs. At last, on the last day of the regular season, we should find some clarity.
There are two teams left the Spurs could possibly play: Dallas and Memphis.
If the Spurs lose tonight in Dallas, which seems a great possibility given all the players Gregg Popovich is resting, they will immediately know their draw. It will be Memphis.
If the Spurs win tonight in Dallas, then they’ll have another reason to keep tabs on the Golden State Warriors’ historic chase of their 73rd win in Oakland.
