Phone rings. It’s your agent calling.
“Hey, it’s official. You are heading to San Antonio to play with the Spurs.”
You pack your bags. You’re so excited you can barely sleep. You rise early the next morning, jump on a plane, and a few hours later you find yourself walking down the jetway into the South Texas sun.
First stop, sunglasses, cause the future’s so bright. Next stop, car rental. Get on-line and start figuring out where you want to live. Take a drive around the north side toward the Spurs practice facility.
