Davis Bertans isn't the only draft-and-stash player that will get his chance to earn a meaningful roster spot for the Spurs next season. Livio Jean-Charles -- who last played for the Tony Parker-owned French team ASVEL -- is set to join the Spurs on unknown contract terms.
With Jean-Charles, Davis Bertans and 29th pick of the 2016 NBA draft, Dejounte Murray, there will likely be three NBA rookies on the San Antonio roster next season. That's half as many rookies as the Spurs have played over the past four seasons combined.
