With the 2017-18 season over, it’s time to look back at its events for the San Antonio Spurs. Rumors surrounded the team throughout the year, including before the latest campaign started in October regarding the team’s roster.
The Spurs were connected to a handful of players before the season started. Among the finals name was Dwyane Wade, who the Chicago Bulls bought out weeks before the preseason; they had traded Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves and gutted most of the roster.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Sep. 24, 2017, that San Antonio had interest in Wade.
