In a game where the short-handed Spurs never led, they took the best team in the East to overtime before losing at the buzzer to a Ben Simmons tip-in.
The Spurs entered their tenth last game of the season at 31-31 for tenth best in the West. But the Spurs started their final stretch of the season shorthanded as we found out that, Dejounte, DeMar and Jakob were all out for rest purposes on the front end of a back to back. Tre Jones (First Career Start), Drew Eubanks and Rudy Gay all started for the Silver & Black.
