When we were divvying up assignments for covering this postseason run, I called dibs on frontcourt play for a few reasons. First and foremost, this San Antonio team will go as far as the tandem of Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge takes them. Secondly, there are some questions about the other frontcourt players. Will Tim Duncan look like an old guy or a veteran? Will Boris Diaw be an X-factor? What about the new additions of Kyle Anderson and David West? Finally, and most importantly, Boban.
The ‘Klaw’ and LMA are the Spurs’ leading shot takers and makers, and they are indisputably the two most important players on this team.
