OAKLAND, Calif. -- San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard appeared on Sunday to aggravate the ankle injury that kept him out of Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals, during the second half of the team's finals matchup at Golden State.
After firing a corner 3-pointer, Leonard took a spill near the Spurs bench after landing on Zaza Pachulia's foot with 7:53 left in the third quarter and the Spurs leading 78-55. Zaza Pachulia was whistled for the foul, and Leonard knocked down the ensuing free throws.
Leonard appeared to signal toward the bench that he needed to leave the game in between his two foul shots.
