SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs center David Lee is expected to miss Game 4 of the Western Conference finals because of a knee injury, coach Gregg Popovich said Sunday.
Lee was diagnosed with a partially torn patellar tendon in his left knee during the Spurs' Game 3 loss to the Warriors, according to sources. Popovich said Sunday, however, that the injury isn't as serious as first believed.
"He's probably not gonna play, but I don't think it's serious," Popovich said. "He did an MRI, and we haven't gotten the results yet. But hopefully he just got like a bruise or something like that.
