The trade deadline is drawing ever so near, and that can only mean one thing: chaos. The Spurs have rarely been a team who participates in the hubbub this time of year except maybe around the fringes, and that’s usually only if they know a player is unhappy (see: Nando de Colo for Austin Daye in 2014). With recent rumors running amok that more than just a fringe player wants out of San Antonio, NBA GMs are trying their luck by contacting the Spurs about franchise player Kawhi Leonard.
However, word on the street is no team is getting the time of day from the Spurs when making inquiries about such a trade.
