The Spurs are simply destined to not win a game when trailing entering the fourth quarter, where they are now 0-31 on the season. After a slow start and getting caught in the “first game back from the Rodeo Road Trip” trap, the Spurs made a huge rally from 19 down in the third quarter to briefly take the lead in the fourth, but as has often been the case this season, the Spurs used up all their energy making the comeback and had no juice left to close out the game, losing 115-112.
Lonnie Walker almost had a career night with 30 points (one below his career-high from last season), 29 of which came in the first three quarters, and Dejounte Murray had a 29-point, 12-rebound double-double.
