The most anticipated free agency period of all-time is set to begin tonight. While the San Antonio Spurs don’t have enough cap space to be a serious contender for the top free agents, they do have an opportunity to continue to build a playoff-caliber team for the 23rd straight year.
According to The Athletic’s Jabari Young, the Spurs “would consider adding” former Hornets big man Frank Kaminsky.
Kaminsky’s NBA career has been a disappointment after Charlotte selected him with the ninth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
As a result of that disappointment and a very high payroll, the Hornets have decided to let the former Wisconsin Badger become an unrestricted free agent.
