The progression of Latvian forward Davis Bertans from raw prospect to well-rounded contributor has been astonishing. To make things clear, Bertans’ shooting ability was never in question. The career 41.5 percent three-point shooter staggered in his sophomore season before blossoming in his third year with the San Antonio Spurs.
Bertans is the league’s leader in three-point shooting, draining his threes at a 47.1 percent clip on the season. Despite being snubbed from this year’s All-Star Three-Point Contest, the league has been put on notice by the 26-year-old.
It’s only natural that the rest of the league would want stock in the Bertans family tree.
