San Antonio Spurs: Robert Horry Calls Out Tim Duncan, Maun Ginobili

Robert Horry had successful championship stints throughout his NBA career, winning with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs. For the latter, he was part of their 2004-05 and 2006-07 title-winning teams.

Well, it seems Horry has a bone to pick with some of his former teammates — maybe the two highest-profile ones he played with. He appeared on ESPN’s The Jump and discussed multiple basketball topics, including his Rockets teams of the mid-1990’s, which featured Hakeem Olajuwon. This led to him making an unexpected comment comparing Olajuwon to Tim Duncan:

“When we played San Antonio one time and Tim was killing me in the block, Phil refused to double-team Tim to get the ball out of his hands,” Horry said.
