The San Antonio Spurs come into tonight’s draft with needs at the wing and big man position while their backcourt rotation seems pretty set after taking guards in the first round of the past three drafts.
Sports Illustrated draft analyst Jeremy Woo is reporting that there has been “persistent chatter in league circles over the past few days linking the Spurs to Georgian center Goga Bitadze.”
The Ringer’s current mock draft has San Antonio taking Bitadze with the 19th overall pick, but ESPN’s mock has him going 15th and Woo suggests that the Spurs may need to trade up if they want to get their guy.
