After two seasons between the Austin Spurs and San Antonio’s Summer League team, guard Olivier Hanlan has signed a deal to join the squad. Hanlan’s rights were traded to the Spurs as part of the Boris Diaw trade with the Utah Jazz in July of 2016.
Hanlan, a product of Boston College, was selected with the 42nd pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and has spent the last two years honing his craft and getting acclimated to the next level of the game.
The 25-year-old has spent a significant amount of time within the organization’s system and has shown signs of growth as a playmaker and shooter.
