In the 2015 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs selected center Nikola Milutinov, with the 29th overall pick. At just 20-years-old, along with a budding career in Europe, it seemed unlikely that Milutinov would join the organization immediately.
Two years later, it looks like Milutinov is inching closer to becoming a Spur. That’s according to EuroHoops.net, who cited a report from MozzartSport.com. Milutinov and Nemanja Dangubic will spend part of this summer with San Antonio and practice with them. The former has an NBA buyout of $1 million, which the Spurs have until July 15 to decide if they want to invoke it or not.
