The San Antonio Spurs had a challenge, on Friday night, with a game against the Boston Celtics. Even at home, it would be difficult, without Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Anderson, to defeat the Kyrie Irving-led Celtics, also the best team, record-wise, in the Eastern Conference.
The score went back-and-forth in the final minutes, including the Spurs taking the lead on multiple occasions (they didn’t capture a lead until halftime). Of course, in dramatic fashion for the Silver and Black, it came down to the final seconds.
Manu Ginobili was left on the court for what looked like San Antonio’s final possession.
