With the 2017-18 season in the rearview mirror, the San Antonio Spurs will face one of their most interesting offseasons in franchise history. There’s a chance that Kawhi Leonard does not remain with the team after the summer, due to in-season problems with the organization on his injury rehab. Assistant coaches may leave, too, and create openings next to Gregg Popovich.
However, that does not factor in free agency. The Spurs could lose up to seven players on the open market, but six of them will not be unrestricted free agents, and three players will have restricted status.
