In all but one game, in the 2017-18 season, the San Antonio Spurs had LaMarcus Aldridge available to play. He broke through, too, with his best performance in the Alamo City, so far, through two-plus seasons. It could earn him a spot in the All-Star Game in February.
However, for Friday night’s contest, the Spurs won’t have Aldridge. Head coach Gregg Popovich ruled him “out,” according to ESPN’s Michael C. Wright.
As for the reason, Popovich said: “we’ll figure it out.” So, it’s unknown the extent of whatever may be bothering the Texas product, if it’s injury-related at all.
