The San Antonio Spurs lost a lead during the fourth quarter and ultimately fell short of the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
Regardless, Kawhi Leonard assembled a tremendous performance, while most of the Spurs put together respectable nights. The biggest problem in the 112-106 loss, however, was the starting backcourt.
10 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 turnovers — Not the opening night many expected from Tony Parker. There were glimpses of the seasoned Parker down the stretch when he was scoring inside.
4 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists — Down by two late in the fourth quarter, Danny Green launched a three-pointer that fell short and off of the hands of LaMarcus Aldridge to put the nail on the game for San Antonio.
