At 12:01 a.m. ET, the San Antonio Spurs and 29 other teams could officially talk with free agents. It’s the beginning of the NBA’s New Year, initiating this process.
For the Spurs, they had a handful of players available in free agency. This included point guard Patty Mills, who played the past six years with this organization. However, it seems he’ll get more time in the Alamo City.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Spurs will re-sign Mills. They will give him four years, $50 million to stay. This makes for a $12.5 million salary.
